Your angry note did, however, lead me on a search for more info and I found that locusmag.com had an entry for this publication, which showed that the date entered on ISFDB was way off (the ISBN is higher than The Last Continent, also published by ShadowLands in 1999-08-00 according to ISFDB) and also provided page #’s and the actual title of the introduction by the mysterious Frater.
