Note: Marie Lukic is an Australian children's science fiction fantasy writer. 'Galaxy Trotters' is Marie's first science fiction fantasy novel. Marie has studied an English major at La Trobe University, journalism at Deakin University, further studieds in education and a diploma in professional writing and editing at NMIT. Her novel was launched at Readings, Carlton on July 18, 2010. Marie's influences include classical literature and writers like Roald Dahl and C. S. Lewis. She has also written the children's book 'Pasquale's Gift' and a Leading Edge VCE English Guide on Maestro. Marie teaches English in a secondary school and lives on the outskirts of Melbourne.
