Synopsis: The stories in this collection refer, directly or indirectly, to the possibility of transferring to another body without losing one's identity. Why risk the first body? Why not change it when it deteriorates? Disposable bodies perform the same functions as the original bodies and also serve to fight wars, discourage alien invaders, populate dreams, or challenge the arbitrariness of the universe.
