  • Note: London Monthly literary magazine 1860 to 1975 Named for the publisher's address at 65 Cornhill, London George Murray Smith (18241901) founded Cornhill in 1859 and its first issue was dated January 1860. It was published by Smith, Elder & Co., a company co-founded by Smith's father George Smith (17891846).
