Ella Enchanted and
Fairest are closely related stories. At one point Ella of
Ella Enchanted is sent to finishing school in the town of in Jenn and becomes friends with Areida. The two remain friends from that point on out in
Ella Enchanted. The main character in
Fairest is Aza. Aza's younger sister is Areida who met Ella and became friends.
The Two Princesses of Bamarre appears to be set in the same world as the other two stories. However, in
Ella and
Fairest there are fairies living with humans. In
Bamarre fairies have not seen by humans for hundreds of years. They are believed to have retreated to the invisible Mount Ziriat. The faries still occasionally visit the elves, sorcerers, and dwarfs, but never humans. There is no mention of the fairies ever been missing in
Ella Enchanted and so it's assumed that
Bamarre is set hundreds of years or more after the other two stories or may not be set in the same world as those stories. Neither Mount Ziriat nor Bamarre are ever mentioned in
Ella Enchanted and
Fairest.
