Title is "Pirates of the Asteroids" on Cover, Spine and Title page but referred to as "The Pirates of the Asteroids" when mentioning prior publication as "Lucky Starr and the Pirates of the Asteroids" by Paul French on Copyright page. Cover states "Second in the Series", (N.B. NOT "No. 2 in the series" as some other publications in the series have it formatted) and back blurb confirms it as "The second novel in the extra-terrestrial odyssey of David Starr, Space Ranger". There is a 1971 copyright date for a foreword that doesn't actually appear in this volume. No cover artist credit or visible signature but cover is shown on Bruce Pennington's official site.
