    • This is a signed limited edition of an unknown number of copies and was available by subscription only.
    • Signature sheet follows the front loose endpaper and prints this statement: "This leather-bound Easton Press Collector's Edition is personally signed by George Zebrowski" below which is the author's signature.
    • One of The Masterpieces of Science Fiction series, indicated by the logo printed on the endpapers.
    • No ISBN, no printed price, and no dustjacket as issued.
    • The uncredited illustrative cover design is repeated on the back.
    • Pages are gilt-edged and there is a gold satin ribbon bookmark bound into the book.
    • The double-page frontispiece, credited on the title page and the copyright page, is on the pages following the signature and before the title page.
    • Unusual for this series, the frontispiece by Sternbach was not originally commissioned for this edition. It reproduces the dustjacket art of the Harper & Row first edition, but without text.
    • There are five full-page B&W illustrations printed on numbered pages, but no indication that they were commissioned by Easton Press, since there is a single 1979 copyright for the artwork.
    • The introduction appears on unnumbered pages, so the pages before Page 1 have been added to the record in order to place it.
    • "Collector's Notes" (uncredited) are on a double-sided laid-in sheet.
    • This edition is a facsimile reprint of the 1979 Harper & Row edition.
    • Verified copy was purchased for approximately $40.00 from the publisher.
