    • The cover, inside cover, and a 2-page table of contents are unnumbered. What we usually view as "page 5" is numbered "1". There are 49 numbered pages, and a blank, unnumbered back page.
    • Partial contents only. There are a large number of essays by Geis, which are only occasionally genre related. We include only the genre essays & reviews. There are also several essays that summarize recently received mail (each such column is dated). Some of these includes notes of fanzines received, and short comments about them, but generally not enough to justify calling them "reviews". These notes about his mail include some material of genre interest, but we only list those letters where he quotes much of the full letter, and the letter is of genre interest.
