    • "The special contents of this edition are copyright © 1995 by The Easton Press..." stated on the copyright page. No stated date of publication.
    • This is a limited edition of an unknown number of copies and was available by subscription only.
    • One of The Masterpieces of Science Fiction series, indicated by the logo printed on the endpapers.
    • No ISBN, no printed price, and no dustjacket as issued.

    • Pages are gilt-edged and there is a light-green satin bookmark bound into the book.
    • The frontispiece, credited on the title page and the copyright page, is on the verso of the page facing the title page. It has a copyright © 1987.
    • "Collector's Notes" (uncredited) are on a double-sided laid-in sheet.
    • This is probably a reprint of a previous edition. This edition has a dark green leather cover. The previous edition had orange-tan leather but with the same gilt design.
    • The introduction by Richard Curtis is undated, unusual for books in this series. Perhaps the date was removed for this reprint.
    • The frontispiece by Richard Powers is almost identical to his cover for the 1985 Bluejay/SFBC edition of Edgar Pangborn's A Mirror for Observers (even though the art has a 1987 copyright in this edition.) A German Swastika and a Japanese symbol has been added to the top of the original painting.
    • Verified copy was purchased for approximately $45.00 from the publisher.
