    • HathiTrust Digital Library provides full view of one copy with original cover -- front cover barely decorated, states "by the Queen of Roumania" -- title page shows subtitle over "by Marie, Queen of Roumania" -- "Dedicated to my Husband" (Ferdinand I (1865–1927), King of Romania from 1914 to 1927 --Wikipedia) -- illustrations (only 2): color plates with guard sheets, frontispiece and facing p23, two leaves not included in the pagination -- novel spans p1-190; p190 footer "Printed in Great Britain by R. & R. Clark, Limited, Edinburgh."
    • Probably there is a dustjacket with illustration that matches one of the interior plates by Edmund Dulac. Compare the 1915 Dreamer of Dreams, same publisher and illustrator, whose book cover design is similar to this one (see).
