pp. 3-4 (viewed at HathiTrust), or "Publishers' Preface to Second Edition", begins with notice that the publishers are moved "to add, to a new and revised edition, illustrations befitting the text." It is signed simply "The Publishers."
Illustrations in that edition are not listed. A photo portrait of the author faces the title page and the first interior plate faces page 24.
