- Fully clothbound with textured endpapers.
- Illustrative limitation sheet is bound after the front loose endpaper and bears the statement: "This special signed edition is limited to 1,000 numbered copies" (over) "This is copy _____." The signatures of the "two" authors appear above their printed names in the center of the sheet. Robin Hobb's name and signature appears before Megan Lindholm's.
- According to the publisher's website, the first 200 copies were leatherbound, with different dustjacket artwork, and full-color endsheets (priced at $125.00).
