    • Pages are gilt-edged and there is a gold satin ribbon bookmark bound into the book.
    • Unusual for this series, there is no frontispiece. The interior art consists of six full-page illustrations, credited to Di Fate on both title and copyright pages. Each B&W illustration has an additional single color: three orange and three green.
    • "Collector's Notes" (uncredited) are on a double-sided laid-in sheet.
    • This edition is a facsimile reprint of the 1952 Shasta edition. There is a quite large bottom margin, probably due to the conversion from Shasta's 21 cm. size to Easton Press's 24 cm. size.
