    • Published in 10 volumes. Page numbers are given in the form "". In two cases (The Giant Raft and The Mysterious Island), the story begins in one volume and concludes in the next. Since "The Giant Raft" takes up part of volume 5 and all of volume 6, no page numbers are listed from volume 6.
    • This is the US edition of the Vincent Parke and Co., Works of Jules Verne.
    • There were two different bindings - a limited leatherette edition of 750 copies and an unlimited brown cloth binding. No pricing available on these.
    • All 10 volumes have the table of contents on numbered page v, and a list of illustrations on numbered page vii. This is indicated in the Pages field as simply vii(1-15). The first volume has an introduction starting on numbered page vii, ending on numbered page xviii and immediately followed by the table of contents with numbered page v. The last page of each volume in sequence is provided following this.

    • Each entry has the title provided immediately preceding the text of the novel, which may differ from that of the title page.
    • Some novels are broken down into two or more "Books" in their title. For these, where a series exists, each title is entered separately using the "Book" title only. Where there is no existing series, the "Book x" is subsumed as a colon in the title.
    • Mysterious Island has been identified as having three parts, but does not separate them into "Books", so has been left as a single novel. It appears in Volume 5 (pages 281-395) and the entire contents of Volume 6. The first part is split between the volumes.
    • The Underground City or The Black Indes is further subtitled (Sometimes Called The Child of the Cavern).
    • It is listed by WorldCat as being published in "[1911?]", i.e. that it was probably published with, or shortly after, the UK edition, but we do not know that for certain.
    • Number of volumes from WorldCat. Contents taken from the Vincent Parke edition, based on statement they are identical in the first ten volumes at Image also from this source (limited Members Edition).
