Advertisement or notice of the publication, as ready, is not found 2019-06-20 in automated search of 1912/1913 newspapers. Here is one informal advance notice of its publication in a series known from 1913/1914:
"Mr. Jacques Futrelle, the well-known author and playwright, while on his recent visit here, arranged with Messrs. Holden and Hardingham for his novel, The Diamond Master to appear in their new 7d. series. The work has never appeared in book form in this country. Special interest attaches to the work from the fact that Mr. Futrelle was on the ill-fated Titanic. One list gives him among the saved. His wife was reported to be on the Carpathia."
