"The Goblin Cat and His French Relations" by the illustrator Dorothy P. Lathrop, NY Herald Tribune 1928-12-09 pJ8, is a full review of this and d'Aulnoy, The White Cat and Other Old French Fairy Tales, introduced and illustrated by MacKinstry (see). This full page article in the Sunday NYHT Books (newsprint) contains several small illustrations from the books.
