Note: Publisher founded by Byron Preiss in 1999. Its books were distributed by the Pocket Books division of Simon & Schuster. The company filed for bankruptcy soon after Preiss's death in 2005, but continued to publish books for the next year or so. Books in ISFDB for 2007 and 2008 were announced but may not have been published. Apparently, J. Boylston & Company eventually bought what was the left of the company and as of the early 2010s do at least some reprinting using the "ibooks" name. The name is sometimes stylized as "iBooks".
