One successor to Wiley and Putnam

According to Wikipedia, succeeded by G. P. Putnam's Sons
in 1872 when sons George and John inherited the business. On the other hand, all of these publisher or imprint names are attested prior to 1872:

George Palmer Putnam
(1814–1872) dissolved Wiley & Putnam, his partnership with John Wiley, in 1848 (or 1847, which the Library of Congress reports for Wiley & Putnam).
Both partners continued in the business, each eventually with two sons.
