Note: New York City, 14 West 22nd St as of August 1900 M. F. Mansfield apparently both preceded and succeeded M. F. Mansfield and A. Wessels, which published books during a subset of 1898 to 1902 evidently. Newspaper advertisements from August 1900, compared with late 1899, show that both Mansfield and Wessels advertised books previously published by the partnership. Both published books illustrated by Mansfield's wife Blanche McManus. Milburg Francisco Mansfield (LCCN no90-010159), born 1871, wrote books under the name Francis Miltoun (LCCN n89-610668). The couple created numerous travel books with illustrations by Blanche McManus, of which the earliest LC record is from 1903, for ''The Cathedrals of Northern France'' (Boston: L. C. Page, 1904).
