Series Record # 15041
-
Note: From Tuck's Encyclopedia of Science Fiction and Fantasy:
When Hornig began this magazine he published mainly reprint novels and the magazine was reasonably successful. The second series printed new stories, usually including a short novel, and was of average to good quality. The second series also published J. Blish's articles on science in science fiction, R. H. Macklin's on the same subject, and good editorials, and often ran R. Madle's "Inside Science Fiction" column.
Science Fiction Quarterly, which had trimmed edges from Aug 1953, was the last of the pulp-sized sf magazines.

In later issues the editorials are printed separately and "It Says Here" contains only reader letters.
