Evidently the odd-number volumes begin with June, 1893 to 1896, and span May to October, vols 9–49, 1897–1917; followed by somewhat irregular annual volumes. As of 1906: Volume 27 spans May to October 1906 in six 112-page numbers (as paginated, interiors only, 1 to 672). Publisher: The S. S. McClure Co. Price: Ten Cents ($0.10) each, or $1.00 --title page, bound volume 27 (U Michigan copy viewed at HathiTrust) Samuel Sidney McClure (1857–1949) and John Knox Phillips (1861–1949) founded the magazine in 1893, with Phillips as co-editor.
