Synopsis: "we are in the year 3094 AD; a planet is discovered coming from outer space which will destroy the Earth in ten years' time (hence the title); an expedition is sent to the rogue planet, and the astronauts discover it is inhabited; the alien scientists take their human visitors back in time to see how their own planet was similarly damaged by another rogue planet; they then turn on them and attempt to keep them captive, but the human captain fortunately has a heat ray with which he rescues his comrades, incidentally destroying the alien civilization; but it doesn't matter because the aliens' planet is then destroyed by a passing comet, so the Earth is saved and there is a happy ending." reader summary on internet.
