Note: 1. The 1958 Aldiss novel "Non-Stop" is an expansion and revision of the 1956 novelette of the same name.
2. The 1959 Criterion edition, issued under the name "Starship", was revised without the knowledge of Aldiss. In his 1990 autobiography "Bury My Heart at W. H. Smith's", he states, "The text had been altered, simplified." It is suspected but not certain that all of the "Starship" versions had this revised text.
