Eddie Batley first appeared in the novella "The Misadventures of Boo and the Boy Blunder."

Synopsis: Werewolf leader Michael Wyndham sends his cousin, accountant Rachael Velvela, to Minnesota to keep an eye on Betsy Taylor, the Vampire Queen.
Eddie Batley, human accountant, feels like a third wheel to his roommates Greg the vampire and Boo the vampire hunter. He decides he needs to go to St. Paul, Minnesota, to keep an eye on the Vampire Queen.
Then the murders begin...
