Synopsis: Publisher's Description: [The] adventures of Merick, a young conscript soldier who is apparently the sole survivor of an Orc attack on Castle Wyrm. On his search for the Orcs responsible, he meets up with Keera Moonflower, a Valkari girl also hunting the same Orcs for killing her mother. The Valkari are called She-daemons by men; this is partly due to their grey skinned elfin appearance, but mainly because of their large black wings. With razor sharp retractable talons and intense green eyes that can paralyse any enemy, (providing they can see in colour; trolls can't) most races are terrified of the Valkari, especially Orcs.
