Synopsis: A space officer wakes up to find his ship wrecked and abandoned. He eventually manages to reach what seems to be a paradisiac, peaceful planet. Alas, a different reality is lurking behind this scenery, which might itself be but a "penultimate truth"...
Note that some characters' names are anagrams of French SF writers and heroes, such as Maurice Limat, Bruno Coqdor and Gabriel Jan himself, as well as a mysterious Pierre Lambert.
