Note: First performed at the Porte Saint-Martin theater on November 25, 1882, but the text was thought to be lost. The manuscript was found in 1978 and published in French in 1981, but the text accidentally omitted a small part of Act II, Scene 2. Synopsis: A play about the son of Captain Hatteras featuring a number of popular characters from Verne's books, including Captain Nemo, Doctor Ox, President Barbican, Michel Ardan, and Professor Lidenbrock.
