Synopsis: In the process of reaching his destiny, as ordained by Siva, Putraka "wins" three magic items: shoes of flight; a stick of truth; and a vessel of unending food. (Compare with "Crystal Ball" in Grimm's Fairy Tales; the "Beautiful Palace East of the Sun and North of the Earth" in Thorpe's Scandinavian Tales; and the Deathly Hallows in Rowling's "Harry Potter".) Among other things, he uses the shoes to reach the tower where a princess lies sleeping with the legend that whatever man wakes her with an embrace shall "obtain the fruit of their birth". (Compare with Sleeping Beauty) He marries the princess and uses the stick of truth to create a city where they rule as king and queen.
