Note: "Best Energies" by Josh Rountree is the same story titled "Avoiding the Cold War" in the unpublished Polyphony 7 anthology. Initial TOCs online actually listed "Best Energies" as "Avoiding the Cold War" Personal email the editor Richard Klaw confirmed that they are the same story, and a reading of the story backs this up.
