Type: POEM
Language: English
Note: "There is no by-line since I honestly don't know who wrote it. It is from a story of my own, entitled "The Men of Sharra", but the poem came out of a meeting of the Vampyres in Albany, and I know, for certain, that at least two people besides myself had a hand in it. For instance, some of it, at least, is in the handwriting of Dot Quinn, and I have a distinct memory of Belle Kehl suggesting certain lines .... so perhaps if you said that all three of us wrote it, you wouldn't be far wrong." Although others may be co-authors as well. We have no record of "The Men of Sharra" being published. It is unclear whether this has any connection to Sharra of the novel "Sharra's Exile".
