Synopsis: Superhero crime novel. The Blue Streak has a variety of super-powers: Limited super-strength, can jump 18' high, can see in the dark, has super hearing, super ventriloquism, and has a vehicle, the "Torpedo", which can go 100 mph, which is "superspeed" for 1946. Goodreads: Industrialist John Marigold is concerned about his niece, who has just attained the age of maturity, inherited a fortune, and now, he fears, has fallen under the spell of one or more criminals. The Streak's investigation leads to a sinister crime lord called Dr. Medusa, and an underground empire of scientific wizardry!
