Note: This collection was initially published in 1946 under the title Mystères et aventures. It consisted of six stories exceptionally written in French by "John Flanders" (Jean Ray's usual pseudonym when he wrote in Dutch). These stories first appeared between 1937 and 1939 in the illustrated magazine for young readers Presto-films.
