Synopsis: The narrator's wife has died. Grieving, he wanders into the cemetery one night. He sees all the dead begin to rise from their graves; each one erases the pious words written on their gravestones about how they were loving spouses and beloved parents, and instead write the truth: they were hypocrites, bullies, thieves, tyrants, backbiters, adulterers...
