- 5-volume and 3-volume paperback boxed sets were both issued 2014-06-03 with "new covers" announced by Rocco in February 2014 ("Percy Jackson gets new covers"). He was one previous creator of cover art for all five volumes, including first editions of the last four.
- All 5 novels are illustrated by a single painting (see the link above, distributed with the 5-volume edition as a "poster") of which approximately one-fifth from left to right successively illustrates each of the 5 novels. When displayed side-by-side, the 5 novels in "new covers" editions show the entire illustration piecemeal.
- The illustration for book 3, or middle fifth of the whole, is the front cover illustration for the box or slipcover (see image) of the 5-volume edition released 2014-06-03.
