Synopsis: "Well here it is, All in Good Time, the sequel to Time at the Top, appearing at last with its predecessor in one volume. And that is where it should be; because the two books together tell a single continuous story. ..." Ormondroyd explais that a sequel was never intended, but last chapters of Time at the Top laid the groundwork unwittingly. He returned to the 1963 story joyfully, writing the 1975 sequel. All in Good Time "ends with a hint that a second sequel might be impossible. Ignore it, please." Editor, publisher, and writer were happy with returning to the story once.
