Note: Original Russian title uncertain. According to FantLab title 25448 , the author published only one short story, "Невидимая схватка", "Invisible Battle". According to reviews of "Невидимая схватка", it's about a spy who uses hypnosis to stay "invisible". The Romanian title, which means "Substitution", seems to match, but further verification will be needed.
