Note: There's a slight chance that the 1966 & 1971 publications might differ in one detail as the latter refers to the absurdity of a 'LEM' as author of the 'Star Diaries' since the Lunar Excursion Module (LEM) would have a far too small electronic brain for such a task, and it is unknown if this tongue-in-cheek joke was part of the 1966 publication.
