Synopsis: In his short life, Herbert C. Klatt became a primary figure in the Lone Scouts of America movement in Texas. He is best known as a friend and correspondent of Robert E. Howard. This publication collects all the known surviving letters to Tevis Clyde Smith (another friend of Howard's), a sampling of his work for the Lone Scouts, and an extensive appendix containing all known material written by Truett Vinson, another friend of Howard and Klatt.
