The winners were Ernst Vlcek in 1969, Günter M. Schelwokat in 1970, Erich von Däniken in 1971 and Lore Straßl & Hugh Walker (as Hubert Straßl) in 1972. Each winner has a short paragraph and a photo in the essay. The 1975 variant title states Johnny Bruck as winner for the year 1973.
