Note: "Okay, when I wrote the first 'City Jitters' (my third book but my first genre volume) it had a very British wraparound tale of town planners arguing over an architects' model. The US publisher didn't want this, so I replaced it with a different linking tale about the same architect heading for New York.
The book did well and they wanted a sequel, so I continued the linking story (I think the architect ends up in the Hudson) and wrote new tales. Some of these tales eventually went into 'The Bureau Of Lost Souls' in the UK, some were lost in the shuffle, and a bit of the linking tale ended up in 'Uncut'."
