Synopsis: The Earth has been discovered by a mysterious alien race known only as "The Apex." People are disappearing at random from all over the world, transported against their will and forced to participate in a lethal series of tests to determine their intelligence, stamina, and will to survive. Most will never leave the Testing Grounds. Leon Alvarado is one of these unfortunate souls, trying to navigate challenges he does not understand for reasons he cannot comprehend. All he wants is to live long enough to go home. But the outcome of his performance in the tests will determine more than his own survival. It may decide the fate of an entire world.
