Coverage of all 12 single stories in its Reader's Guide (and Wikipedia articles on the first two of these) show that those must be: • "The Ship That Found Herself", featuring the parts of a ship • ".007", featuring locomotives (originally ".007: The Story of an American Locomotive") • "The Maltese Cat", featuring a polo pony in the championship match • "The Walking Delegate", featuring labor organization by an outside agitator among farm horses In "The Bridge-Builders", Chief Engineer Findlayson has a vision of gods that may personify the Ganges River.
