Information based on semi-annual bound volumes of Bibliothèque d'éducation et de récréation (1-4), dates sourced from http://www.j-verne.de/verne_hetzel_2.html. First combined book publication in 1866 as ''Voyages et aventures du capitaine Hatteras''. Subsequent reprints in one or two volumes. US serialization in 1929:
  • ''Amazing Stories'', May-June 1929, illustrated by Frank R. Paul. As The English at the North Pole. Part 1.
