Note: Originally serialized in Magasin d'Éducation et de Récréation in three parts, each part restarting chapter numbers. All parts have "L'Ile mystérieuse" as the title and are illustrated by Jules-Descartes Férat (as Férat). Part 1, sub-titled as "Les Naufragés de l'air" appeared from 1 Jan, 1874 (issue #186) to 1 Sep, 1874 (issue #204) and had an additional illustration by Jules Verne (Carte d'Ile Lincoln). Part 2, sub-titled as " L'abandonné" appeared from 15 Sep, 1874 (issue #234) to 15 Apr, 1875 (issue #248). Part 3, sub-titled as "Le secret de l'ile" appeared from 1 May, 1875 (issue #249) to 15 Dec, 1875 (issue #264).
