Note: Originally serialized in Magasin d'Éducation et de Récréation in two parts, each part titled "Michel Strogoff" and sub-titled "de Moscou à Irkoutsk" and restarting chapter numbers. Both parts are illustrated by Jules-Descartes Férat (as Férat) and Jules Verne (maps - one in each part). Part 1 appeared from 1 Jan, 1876 (issue #265) to Aug 15, 1876 (issue #280). Part 2 appeared from Sep 1, 1876 (issue #281) to 15 Dec, 1876 (issue #288).
