1886Translated by W. G. Hanna Translator per Arthur B. Evans, "A Bibliography of Jules Verne's English Translations" from the March 2005 issue of Science Fiction Studies. The 2007 edition is, according to the copyright page, "Set from George Hanna's Original Translation, with slight adjustments, modifications, and restorations"--presumably by editor Nico Lorenzutti. The publisher's blurb says "It includes passages that were omitted from George Hanna's 1889 original translation, and his translation errors have been corrected."

Dutch Mathias Sandorf: De Middellandsche Zee
1957Translated by Vázsonyi Endre = Endre Vázsonyi. First published in 1957 in two volumes (as shown here). This translation begins: "Trieszt, Isztria (a hajdani Illyria) fővárosa két, egymástól lényegesen különböző városrészből áll: az egyik a Terézárosnak nevezett gazdag újváros, amelynek szabályos házsorai az öböl medréből elhóditott partsávon húzódnak, a másik a Karszthegységhez tartozó domb lejtője és a Korzó közé ékelt területeken rendetlenül összezsúfolt, szegény óváros. A dombtetőn meredező fellegvár festői látványt nyújt a szemlélőnek."
