Note: The 1978 edition (Manor) was a plagiarized publication of Fox's original novel. Source: Locus #221 (May 1979). Differences are main character changed from "Kael Carrick" to "Reed Norvack", planet "Dakkan" to planet "Ulten", dead super scientist "Hannes Stryker" changed to "Nels Larsen" and energy monster "Ylth'yl" changed to "Yeeluth". Heroine, arch criminal and evil financier all retained the names of the original printing. Text almost completely (99.9%) the same with only easily seen 'he' changed to 'Reed Norvack' to introduce character.
