The contents of 1876 The Hunting of the Snark, illus. by Holiday (engraver Swain), and 1911 collection Phantasmagoria and Other Poems, illus. by Frost (engraver Dalziel), are jointly the contents of 1883 Rhyme? and Reason, with 65 illus. by Frost and 9 by Holiday (so credited).
The 2012 omnibus contains all of the same separately in its 6th (Hunting) and 8th (Phantasmagoria) sections. It credits the illustrations correctly to Holiday for the former, and by mistake to Frost and Holiday for the latter. |
