List of plates included. • Introduction [pp. 7-11] and Epilogue [p. 112] by Arthur Clarke. • Short "Acknowledgements" section, apparently by R. A. Smith, expressing his indebtedness to H. E. Ross. • Separated into four parts: I. On the Frontiers of Space; II. To the Moon; III. The Pioneers; IV. The Colonists. Each has a short introduction. • The rest of the book consists of two-page units: plate by Smith on the right, title and text by Clarke on the left.
