The "Bear Alley" blog post of Nov. 24, 2009 describes the confusion between the author's name as posted on the cover and title page, i.e. "A. G. C. Clarke", and that used in the introduction to the book, i.e. "A. C. G. Clarke". He then goes into biographical detail on the actual author. WorldCat agrees with this posting, and lists "Into the Darkness" as being authored by Alfred Charles George Clarke, with a note that the "responsibility" is "by A.G.C. {sic} Clarke."
